erm, that explanation isnt very good, that nmachine is a step up transfornmer, a type of induction coil, and induction coils dont cause fire, the excited electrons in between the spark gap produces heat, thus causeing fire, not the coil itself.

This explanation needs to be more indepth. Also, the speaker needs to speak more clearly and slower.

that ruhmkorff coil is pretty weak for the size have you considered making use of capacitance between layers it could greatly increase the output
