Think and imagine if this man/woman would be a suitable parent who is going to TEACH and educate ur children on faith, try to imagine being that child and having that mother/father for a parent. So many marriages are failing brothers and sisters because of the obvious reasons that at the beginning when the union was made, the ground was not solid, it was not halal! it was not pure. May Allah (swt) guide us to the straight path and to be stronger and faithful servants.

Muslim brothers and sisters MUST consider without a doubt the morals of that person, his/her kindness and faithfulness but most importantly their iman, their faith, the closeness to Allah, because a marriage union which is close to Allah will never ever fail.

Allah akbar, this is so true, thats why so many marriages are failing so much. It seems that so many people dont marry for the future of their children or even themselvs, its all this romantic love extravaganza which is so idealised, it is so illusionary and so shaitan! There is nothing wrong with falling in love with the guy that ur going to marry, but marrying just for the sake of goodlooks, good feelings, good finances is just NOT enough!
