@joshtits Hey mate, been tying to figure this out myself even following the comments here but with not much luck, can you put up a quick tutorial maybe? cheers!
@SoundsAndGear perfect thank you so much for all your help... This all worked and it only took a few weeks of messing with it... everytime I mess with this thing I find out something new...
@SoundsAndGear YEAYYYY finally after about 3 months of trying to figure this out this totally worked. One last question on this topic. Okay so I record it into maschine on a pad. 1) how can I make it so that when I push the pad once it will play the sample all the way through 2) right now I can hold the pad down and it willl activate the sample but what if I'd like to have it do that very thing hit the pad and make it play the whole shabang
@joshtits you have to be in sample mode :) Hit the little wave icon on the left side and then you can set where it samples from. Remember you're using GR as an input. Now you don't have to do it this way, you can record your guitar dry then put guitar rig on after. But many like to record through GR, which it seems like that's what you want.
@SoundsAndGear alright pad one is set up as you saw with your additional comments so its pad 1 with and input from exernal and guitar rig as a plugin on the other module....
Pad 2 is set up like you say with with a sampler on module 1 but theres no option to choose sample from internal... am I just missing the obvious?? seems like it should be a lot easier. The other plugins like Kontakt and Reaktor seem so much easier ERRR this is frustraiting
@joshtits you have to setup another pad as a sampler and set it to internal so it will record what is coming through that input. Basically your input is just that, and input, if you want to sample it you need to setup a sampler and tell it to listen to that input.
@SoundsAndGear okay so now I get sound... GREAT but it doesnt seem to record. I try to record this like a normal sound as always with maschine but I get nothing.. normally your hitting a pad and or say a midi keyboard but for some reason its not aclly getting my sound to record inside maschine... ideas??? its like Im so close but yet so far
change the first pad which you have setup as "sampler" to "input" so it can listen to what is coming in from your guitar. Set the input to "ext" and whatever input channel you are using on your interface.

@joshtits go into playback options and change it from adsr to oneshot, use the arrows on the controller to get to the proper page.
