Caught Up - Aaron Spears. Aaron Spears fill broken down in simple terms!! Big ups to Aaron, he's "Tha man" on the drums for being one of the best drummers out there!. Aaron Spears uses these triplets in gospel drumming and R&B. The triplets and single stroke rolls alternate between the hands and foot. He plays caught up - non gospel - by Usher on the video; Aaron Spears uses these rudiments a lot as he expresses in his interview on the modern drummer festival DVD in 2006. Aaron Spears also has a great DVD called beyond the chops which is also great to use in gospel and R&B. You can see more triplet fills, syncopated rolls and nice strong pocket. This song though, caught up, has made him famous amongst drummers. The modern drummer festival really put him on the map. Enjoy!

@bembryc lol my hands are not that fast, but thanks. I listen to songs and play different note values on a pillow. 8th, 16th sextuplets throughout the entire song-even if im tired. I use marching stick sometimes during practice as well.

@JoelMcCoy89 Thats a 16" china trash with a 12" HHX splash upside down. The is an 8 inch parragon splash suspended in the center as well. (alot going on lol)
