Weird Noise South East England August 24th 2011 (Audio Only)

The link below will show you every train station in the South East of England. I've posted this image as some plonker in the comments says there is nowhere in the South East that is 40 miles from a station! They are wrong.

UPDATE - December 2011: All investigations and possible explanations of this event ran dry. There was one possible lead to the cause of this sound which led to a food processing factory 11 miles away. However, after speaking with the factory manager she stated: "There would have been nothing on our site that produced the sound that you recorded on August 24th at 1am." I guess this will have to remain a mystery. Since I made the recording and before I went away on business in October, I haven't heard the sound again.

Weird noise captured on audio in South East England on August 24th 2011 at Approximately 01:00am. I'm keeping my exact location private for the time being as what this sound could have been is currently being investigated.

@celiamae16 For two reasons: 1) There would have been nothing to see on video. It's pitch black where I live, no street lights etc, and 2) The microphone on my video camera would not have picked up the sound as well as what the microphone I used on my laptop picked it up.

This is H.A.A.R.P if you google it or you tube it you will find out it is the most feared weapon in world and it,s located at the south pole in antarctica ,IT,S SOUND WAVES being produced by the H.A.A.R.P machine being tested by the USA milatary ,spend 2mins watching it on youtube and see experts tell you why they fear this invention !!!

I live in South Yorkshire.Good to see more people have witnessed this kind of thing,but it is un nerving and i had no explaination.I`d love to witness it again now i can record it on my phone which i didnt at the time.Good on ya for sharing though,like you say,you have to be there!!!

I heard something quite similar to this whilst walking home one night.One moment there was nothing then a pulsating sound seemingly to come from all around.Like your view,i could not pinpoint where it was coming from! It seemed like it was from the sky,but impossible to tell.I stopped and it lasted about 10 minutes then faded quite quickly.I`am a musician and it inspired me to do a track (on my channel or type` UFO Abduction (music)` ) This was real yet more electronic.A lot of it going on!!!

This is very much like something I heard as a child. I remember waking up to it and walking into the kitchen, it seemed to come from everywhere, I remember telling people about it at the time but I was only 4 so they took no interest. That was around 1970 in the town of Haverhill in Suffolk UK. I never have forgotten it so it made an impression. I find it quite scary to hear this again.
