Are the gravel roads in good condition or are they very sandy getting up there? I do own a 4wd however, so I shouldn't have a problem, but you never know.
Some of the roads are a little hairy, but if you just stay on the construction roads you'll be fine. The only trouble I had was on the forest road that parallels the UP right under I-15, and that's because my Subaru sits a bit low.

Very nice there. How do you get to that spot? I think I will try going there sometime on my next Cajon trip.

It's a place called Hill 582, I'd have to show you on a map to explain how to get there.
