The red light district has been cut to half of what it was, gladly, due to crime increase and women exploitation. Also, anyone who thinks of going there think again. Almost all women in the district are forced or trafficked women. Since legalization in 2000 it has become dominant. So, if you now buy a women for sex there, big chance youre raping a sextrafficked/forced prostitute. Men buying sex should be prohibited.

I live in Amsterdam.

It is looked down upon to sleep with prostitutes, nobody thinks it's a "good" thing to be a prostitute. It is sad that almost all tourism here is based on weed/prostitution.
