I saw a full show all about this case that also detailed the use of wasps in forensics as opposed to canines. It was fascinating, but I cannot remember where I saw it. Does any one know what show this was?

Scientist did a water current test where running shoes filled to mock the weight of a foot with GPS tracking devices were dropped from various locations into the Fraser river.

They all appeared to follow the flow of the river in to the Juan de Fuca strait.

I'm guessing people committed suicied by jumping off of briges. The bodies decomposed in the water, feet came off.

Some of the remains have been linked to missing persons.

And men are usually the victims of most violent crimes. Just google "bureau of justice statistics victim characteristics"

plane wreck? or maybe undersea currents have brought debris from the tsunami? about one ship a week disappears due to human error/corrosion/freak rogue waves?

These feet are obviously connected to someone who closely works with the dying or dead. He/She has a history of medical backgrounds for sure. His forte would have been disection in University and he/she (prob he since most cases of violent acts are caused BY men and not TO men)is most likely single and has taken up a hobby to garner publicity and attention.

so these people are just like, hanging in trees, over the beach somewhere, and every once in a while, a foot falls of to wash ashore. I looked into it, and a few of the shoes on the feet, haven't been made for 5 years.
