Securing the Future - Part 1

The last two years has seen the development of an exciting partnership in Rochdale, which has led to improved services for prisoner's families.

At Belfield Sure Start Children's Centre, Buckley Hall Prison and POPS (Partners of Prisoners and Family Support Group) we have responded to various national policies, agendas and practice requirements with a ground-breaking initiative. This has seen the introduction of child-centred visits at the prison which have brought families together in a meaningful way and provided support services to both prisoners and partners including parenting courses.
