He stood there staring at me, waiting for my reaction. But what i was about to say obviously wasnt going to be the reaction he expected.
Anna's P.O.V
I looked up at James' expectant features.
Anna: I think is my turn to surprise you now.
James: (nervous) Well i love surprises.
Anna: I'm leaving, in three days. I...I didn't know how to tell you. Im going on tour with my brothers. It's all summer.
I looked at him as his usually tanned skin became a shade whiter.
James: This is.. sudden.
Anna: I'll talk to you every day. I promise.
James: Anna, I love you.
Is this his way of trying to make things easier for me! By telling me he loved me?! But i couldn't deny that I felt the same way about him.
Anna: I.... I love you too. But right now this is just something I feel like I really need.
James: I understand. But you need to know that this isn't going to be easy.
Anna: James, I would never do anything to hurt you.
He just nodded.
James: Anna, we always stay within our little area of L.A. I mean its a big world, and there's gonna be other people. Other boys.
Anna: You and my brothers are the only boys.
James: Ahhhh, well when you put it that way.
(Fast Forward) The date is over and Anna is walkinf up the driveway.
I opened the door and heard someone get up from the couch. Soon enough Joe came sliding around the corner in... Pink Socks?
Joe: Young Lady! where have you been!?
Anna: (giggles) on a...
Joe: A DATE!!!! I KNEW IT!!!! AHHHHHH!
Anna: Joe! deep breaths! in, out. In, out. (makes breathing noises.)
Joe: Anna, thats just plain icky.
Anna: No it was not!
Joe: Wha'ts that on your left hand? Your not gonna elope are you?!
Anna: Uhhh (sarcastically), noooo.
Joe: Well thank god.
Anna: Wheres are first stop on the tour?
Joe: New York! your gonna love it there.
That was it. In two days i was gonna be on the other side of the country far away from the person who i connected with the most. I ran walked up the stairs and sat on my bed. My mind raced as i peered at the tiny engraving on my new ring. My finger ran over it and i smiled. Everything was okay. He even promised "forever and always"
