R.I.P John - I saw the terrible news this morning. You will be missed but never forgotten. One of Britain's very finest. A more decent, down to earth,and above all modest man you would be very hard to find. People like this should get MBE's, not pop stars for heavens sake. He did more for his country than most of us could ever dream of.

Each time the guy attacked and the other guy grabbed the wrist , all the other guy had to do was go downward with his hand and he would have cut the other guy

The thing is, I don't know whether it works, maybe it takes long years to practice, I believe that whether it works or no isn't the main point of our discussion, but I get your message & it is correct if what you just wrote is true. I have no way of knowning, so I am just trusting you. My common sense: I see a knife, I am as fast as Bolt.

@asskickerfoo So that was a real reason for my writing, not for feeling myself important or Mr. Know-it-all..! There are too many self defence tutors in the world. All I m offering is the truth, nothing more ( like Morphius said in MATRIX movie). YOU have to decide what you get. @asskickerfoo I have some good experience in conflicts, so that is why I feel confident to judge. I have undergone some real training, and feel some responsibility to comment on things performed incorrect, cuz teaching fake self defence skills would affect someones life..! People spreading iformation via internet are responsible for placing any information, cuz if some guy will take wrong advise just because was placed by LABELED SAS dude, he would be killed in real conflict..!

@asskickerfoo Well, you sound like a reasonable person! So the second part of your message contradicts to the first. Why one should be labeled to have human sense..? I am not offering you any stuff.. Im just asking you to try for yourself, so you could define the real and fake.. I am not asking you to swallow my stuff.. I just ask you to do a simple test, an experiment with grabbing attacking hand with knife, so you would see that it is a suicide...

@asskickerfoo This is the common people's mistake..! If someone has name like SAS, KGB, M-7, other people give them authority atomatically without even thinking.. People ready to swallow anything feeded to them..! "Oh, this was told by SAS guy, thus it absoluter true!"- This is how most humans psychics works..! Sad..! So many swallowing any shit given by someone famous and well known..! Than was your choice..! Sorry that you did not get a mesage..! Cheers bud..!

both of you are wrong - there is no way to define who is better, until we see them go at it.

Both countries' SFs go through vigorous training, and some (most) of your arguments were pure bullshit, I am not even going to go into that.
