First off, I'd like to say I need a haircut and that I can't tie a neck tie. Ha ha.

Also, this was my first take in my parents' bathroom.

Okay, okay. So you'll want to know why I did this video. Well, I was broke this year, so I thought I'd write a song for everyone instead. I started writing this on the 13th, and I'm pleased with it... sorta. It could use some work, but I think it's decent. The lyrics aren't all that great, but it's whatever. (Honestly, it sounds like something I could've written in 8th grade. Lol.) Do tell me what you think though. I'd appreciate it. =D

I think this is a song that everyone can relate to. I titled it "Hopelessly" because it's the overall theme of the song, a song about unrequited love. ("Puzzle Piece" or "Hold You (Tonight)" would've worked too, but I didn't feel like those titles emphasized the whole feel of the song.) Two people who are very dear to me have recently gone through this, and I'd like to dedicate this to them—they inspired me. I've been through it, so I hope this song shows that. Now that I think about it, it's a bit too depressing for the holidays, isn't it? Oh well.

You know, it's hard to love someone with everything you've got, but it's even harder to find someone who's willing to love you just as much. If you've found that, hold on to it, cherish it. If you don't have that, it'll be okay. Stay strong; true love will find you one day. Remember to spend time with those you love and to live in the moment. You only have one life to live, so make the best of it.
