  • Ah I see Kato Sensei is still very much alive and well. That's good! He has so many great karate training ideas, especially kata applications that make complete sense. I'd encourage everyone to get along and train with him. Excellent English, even if he does drop the occassional 'blue' word for effect.

  • @Scatlikeacat lol

  • @gerwinarenas Yes! He still teaches literally all over the world every year! A true Karate genius. We hosted him in our dojo in the west of Ireland (Tuam) in October - one of the best courses I've ever done - seeing him doing Tekki Shodan was truly terrifying, such ferocious intensity. All IJKA courses are open, I highly recommend you track one down and attend, consistently top notch stuff. I'll be taking my nidan exam under him in February in Cork, fingers crossed!! OSU!!

  • i can do this :) im still choosing my style but training my own way everyday. i think aikido is the best style for me, but there are so many styles. i think that shotokan is a great style, after thinking it over, the idea of training for shotokan is not gone. maybe i should just do shotokan style. yeah................yeah. yeah. shotokan, sounds right. i think the school i choose MIGHT be shotokan. thanks for the video

  • sensei Sadashige kato is the best. He used to train and grade us back in the 90s with my 2 brothers and my dad..
