Bob Taylor lends his support to Dave Carroll and guitar players everywhere.

Taylor has had an artist relationship with Dave for several years now. In 2006, our owners magazine, Wood&Steel, reviewed Daves CD, Sunday Morning. As weve had an ongoing relationship, we have made the offer to replace and/or further repair his damaged 710ce.

As a Taylor artist, weve offered Dave our support, a choice of a new guitar and to re-repair the damaged 710ce. Dave and his bandmate Julian made the trip to the Taylor factory in July and have met many of our staff. Well also be running a story on Daves experiences in the fall issue of Wood&Steel.

  • @psyoptica Then what are you gonna play?? a Jackson? No thanks..

  • Taylor supported SOPA, in addition to Fender, Gibson, and Peavey.

    Boycott them.

  • Anybody remember the old SAMSONITE commercials with the Gorilla? That depiction is not inaccurate. Why would anyone trust ANY airline or ground shipper with a $3500 guitar in a $90 injection molded Non-ATA approved case?

  • Taylor would never get a chance to work on any of my MARTIN'S,or any other of guitars.

  • TSA = Terrorist first, Customer Service Last.

  • That is great customer relations. I have a Gibson (mind you I suck at guitar) but my teachers always loved my guitar. Anyhow back to Taylor, I love the fact that they took advantage of Daves video to advertise Taylors , but are not pushing to buy their brand, but willing to repair any brand. Great for those who cannot afford Taylors. Brilliant!

  • I don't even play Guitar (or any instrument for that matter) but I might buy a Taylor Guitar! It's great to see that in a world of "Vanilla" companies and CEO's that this one has some real flavor.

  • I love this. Helps promote Taylor, helps support Dave (bless his pea pickin' heart) and helps spread the word about how to travel with a guitar so it doesn't get broken by UNITED. BTW that's a bad name for that company. What would be a better name? Hum......

  • @bassplayeroceanside I just did.

  • Now THATS a CEO I would give my hard earned money to.
