They tried to pull this shit on me with Uncharted. I called in to see if they had a new copy, they stated "yes', so I went in and they pulled the disc out of that notorious drawer after they took my money. I was disgusted and angry at the same time; so I put a stop to it and took my money elsewhere.
I now refuse to buy anything there no matter how good the deal looks. These business practices coupled with snobby employees = no thanks.

And let me guess...after you took it home with you then returned it they STILL sold it as new even though you could have played through it twice during that time.
Just ask any game collector (like me) if an opened game is new. haha not-played does NOT mean new.

I feel like there should be something against them opening sealed games. The whole point of buying them new is there BRAND NEW and SEALED

i went to gamestop brought a used game up to the counter it has the manual and everything, he takes themanual out and gives it tom me. im like where the fuck is the manual and he said it dosent come with it? but yet when i was looking at the game to buy it had the manual. rip off

yea, i had a similar problem. A few months ago I wanted Forza 3. So i go in, ask for a new copy, and they put a game in a case and slap a sticker on it. Plus when i took the sticker off it left a ton of residue
