I started WHIPPLE SURGERY SURVIVOR GROUP on Facebook. We are all Whipple patients and share a wealth of information with each other. We'd love to have you and everyone on here join our group. It helps so much to talk to people who have gone through this surgery.

God is with you, i had the Whipple last year i lost so much weight i looked like a match stick. i am now putting back my weight, you will live many many years.

It was wonderful to see your video-I had the whipple on Dec 22 at Tampa General Hospital-I guess it's only human to think that you are the only person going thru this journey. So far, I've been told that I am doing well-I have a follow-up with my Oncologist tomorrow. I will be having Chemo treatments-I just don't know for how long.
Will I have a quality of life after the chemo? for how long?
I have dropped 30 pounds and contunue to lose a pound a day. I have no appetite-Here's hoping.

Thank you Karen for sharing. I saw your video before my whipple surgery and it gave me hope. I am now 3 weeks post op and feel fantastic. The surgery was rough but you were right about how the nurses were on top of it. Thank you for your story. Donna
