The texture pack is SMP's Realistic, a now-outdated texture pack.

My skin is not Hitler, it's the 11th doctor from Doctor Who.

And the video's purpose isn't to be funny or anything. It's supposed to show you that double doors the usual way with one pressure plate is impossible. There is a way if you make an odd L-shape with your doors, using one pressure plate on each side, that it's possible, but that is not what I was referring to.

This was also back in the day when Redstone was pretty fresh and not a lot of people knew how the fuck it worked. It was so early in its release, that it still broke when you stepped on it. It also wasn't even called Redstone at this point, that came a little later on.
