I took a lesson from a magazine,
On how to raise my self-esteem.
So far I still haven't got a clue.
I wrote a letter I'll never send.
It's more fun just to play pretend.
I never thought I would be here without you.
I laugh so hard I cry
I must have missed you said you tried.
Now you act like we never met,
And all I am is a silhouette; you don't even care at all.
Growing up in your own front yard,
Wishing we could be so far,
Away from all the things we'd said and done
Nothing screams like a curtain drawn
You draw the blinds and now I'm gone
Out of sight and out of mind for good.
Don't you think it's time,
We put and end to this goodbye?
Now you act like we never met,
And all I am is a silhouette; you don't even care at all.
