I Hate Parties

Parties seem to turn me into a blob of awkwardness.

Also, I have been living in my house for almost two weeks now and I clearly haven't unpacked or tidied my room at all.

What crazy world do you live in where guys would let you sit down at a party, in a corner, awkwardly and alone!.!.!... The same world where guys stand you up on dates I guess (re: your past video) ... Wisps of smoke are curling from my ears from my mind's attempts at making sense of this... The world is out of balance and somewhere, in some dark desolate place, a unicorn is dying...

in general i'm the same way as you keeli, except i do like some alcohol (big beer fan, but usually just the craft beers, not the big macro-brews). i'll drink but i prefer it to be in a small group, more intimate setting.

the one exception is if i'm in the mood to play some beer pong...i can get sliiightly rowdy then, but only cause it's a fun game :)

@unicyclistAg I HATE BEER PONG. I get way too competitive and have no fun at all. I manage to ruin all party games for everyone involved with my weirdly serious competitive streak.

Hey Keely! Does anybody in your history society know that you post videos on youtube? Maybe you have some potential followers there, and possibly a good way for them to get to know your sense of humor? Or maybe it's weird. I dunno. haha Best of luck in school.

@d00d3r No, I don't think that any of them do! For some reason, I feel a bit shy with sharing my videos with people I know from school. I highly doubt that they view me as a professional colleague or anything, but I like to pretend that they might.

Not to say there aren't good people at a party, but I definitely enjoy creating something or working on my project than being at a party bragging about who I've hooked up with, or how much I can drink, etc., which you are right, the drinking thing is what it seems it's mostly about. I get bored quickly, after a few minutes or up to an hour of mindless or superficial conversation. And if you have to brag about those things, then just means to me, you've got a need to prove somebody something.

i disagree, a party consisting solely of friends is always fun. Especially IB parties cus everyone is a nerd, and getting drunk is not obligatory.
