4/4 Marches and Jig on Doublepipes

The 4/4 marches City of Hastings and Wings, and Thorntons Jig, played on doublepipes or double chanter bagpipes. Usually thought of as Cornish, doublepipes were played all over Britain in the Renaissance period.

Yuri Terenyi, a pipe maker Down Under, made the special double stock, and blowpipe. A bagmaker friend of his made the custom bag. Next I would like to have made special chanters in wood, having the same hole configuation that I've created in these Gibson practice chanters.

How much to buy? I don't think anyone makes these so you would have to cobble it together like I did. It's two Gibson long practice chanters which are around $100 each plus the bag, special double stock, and blowpipe from Yuri. All in all less than $500.

this is awesome. It was sound amazing with an A drone, and a drone that could be tuned to either D or E.
