  • She did NO crow hop; foot never leaves ground. The knowledgeable on softball pitchers & fastpitch know there's a deep hole/gully in front of pitching rubber/plate; airspace IN that hole is seen as part of the ground; she drags her foot MOSTLY through airspace--NOT a hop--you're seeing things; AND: ALL pitchers occasionally throw illegal pitches/borderline pitches--some get away with it because they're mostly on the legal side; point's to stop pitcher's taking advantage--not run POLICE STATE!

  • Gosh, she's so tall. She has a great moment arm.

  • @porangahauien Play it again and try to pause it at 1:36. She very clearly lifts and replants. Also, whoever told you that crow-hopping was legal, (probably a friend or coach because you sound young) was completely wrong. Check the ASA or USSSA Rule Book. One foot must stay on the ground at all times. It even defines "crowhopping" and states that it is illegal.

  • @spookinoff 1. It diddn't lift off the ground and 2. its called a crow hop and is now legal in softball

  • @spookinoff yepp its illegal :)

  • Look at her back foot at 1:36. Illegal pitch? Very subtle, but she definitely lifts it and then replants it.

  • Cat, I like hearing that you worked with your Dad. Its a neet kinda bonding thing that Dads do. I dont get too huggy-kissee with my girl but she knows I love her, not just cause the sport,,it's cause I love her. We can share this forever.

  • wow her mom is my teacher i didnt know her daughter was her......no lie her mom really is my teacher

  • Movement...now concentrating strongly for my 12 yr. old Mattie.....she's fast, she wants to get faster, now we need to 'pop that towel and move it around, not just location but other throws!'

  • what are some other drills you can do for snapping? that is the most thing i need to work on! but i only have 2 drills to do!

    help?
