Well, there not as heavy as bands like Slayer and Sepultura, but they do have a thrashy sound to em.

the sound that you hear thats thrashy is in the vocals but the guitar ruffs and drums r all speed they remind me of old school helloween

I guess.... but still, for a band that came before thrash, they're pretty thrashy.

music isnt about lyrics or vocals its about the instruments. if eminem had a heavy beat in the BR he wouldnt be rap anymore hed be like grunk funk er wat ever the fuk you wanna call it no matter how buddy sang its speed metal cus of the riffs n beat. brittney spears could sing it would have lame ass vocals but it would have a speed riff to it so it would be a speedy pop er sumthin but i dunno maybe they should reclassify them as speed thrash like anthrax cuz they sorta sound like anthrax
