  • Nice videos you got.But I have a cuestion. What is a side crush? I'm a martial arts since I had 12 years old,I'm 21 year old now but I don't have many time to do my TKD trainings.I'm flexible, but I never did a full split or hold my legs no much longer than 3 seg. If I start again practicing taekwondo 4 times in the week, run 2 miles and start to streach will I be able to do a full split, hold my legs in the air for more than five seg and improve my kicking and how longer I will see the changes?

  • @JovanDiazHMPC practicing and stretching will get you there, running would only get you some cardio endurance and getting lean. The hardest thing is balancing strength and flexibility. If your goal is the splits don't overwork your leg muscles too much, because they'll only get tighter. I also am not sure what a side crush is, but if it has to do with kicking then maybe it the muscles you work when you keep your body upright in your kicks and it kinda crushes your side. Hope that helps!

  • Nice job. But i have a question. When i do my round house kick or just any kick that i try to kick high my body leans really back. Is this because i need to stretch more? I follow your stretching routine every day.

  • Most times it's because people are not flexible enough. But if you are able to go past 120 degrees or can do a full split a full 180. Then this should not be the case. It could be that your obliques or intercostals are not strong enough. Its the muscles that let you do a side crunch. If you can't bend up while lying on your side then you might need to strengthen these muscles. Try a few side crunches for a week then try keeping your body close to upright while kicking.
