As Congress is poised to debate and vote on raising the debt ceiling, Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) today took to the House Floor to remind fellow Members why we are in debt in the first place: wars and tax cuts for the rich. Kucinich urged Members to take back our authority to print money from the Federal Reserve (the Fed) and to use that authority to invest in America by putting Americans back to work:

  • He speaks the truth. That makes him a rare and in dangered species, especially in government"

  • Damn fucking right! The time for allowing these shitting Wall Street traitors to continue to do this to our country is over. Armed uprising is NOW. Since the ruling Oligarchy won't surrender willingly, we need to drag them out of their mansions, out of their offices, out of their cars and give them fair trails in the streets.

  • @powerofthepunch3 I never said that they are all the same, I said that wRong Paul has Conservative and Libertarian ideals! And what's stopping him from running on a Libertarian ticket instead?

  • @deeppurple28 you need to research the differences between republicans, conservatives, and libertarians before you can state that they all share the same political beliefs. it would be like me saying that a hardcore socialist liberal like harry reed is in the same political boat as kucinich, who is a considered a conservative blue dog democrat. the two share different beliefs in how the democrat party should be. just like how ron and rand share completely different beliefs with other republicans

  • @deeppurple28 mitt romney flipped flopped on the issue on abortion, so do you consider him romney a republican. and you didn't answer my question before. do you believe kucinich is a democrat even though he disagrees with the federal reserve? and you said previously that republicans share libertarian beliefs and conservative beliefs and then you state that i said ron paul doesn't have those ideas. why are you spinning my words around. i clearly said republicans don't have those types of beliefs

  • @powerofthepunch3 Actually wRong Paul has Libertarian/Conservative ideals! He does not believe that there should be a separation between church and State, and the senile old little man also believes that Abortion should be illegal on a federal level! Face it, wRong Paul is a Republican! If he wasn't he'd be running on a Libertarian ticket, but gee I wonder why he doesn't switch his ticket?

  • @deeppurple28 republicans don't share a view of libertarianism or conservatism! so in your opinion is kucinich a democrat? he is staying in the republican party because he cares about his son's chances in remaining in the republican party as a libertarian/conservative. main-line republicans in past elections, state or federal have made sure conservatives and libertarians don't get elected by swinging their support to democrats. ron doesn't want this to happen to his son rand in future elections

  • @powerofthepunch3 Actually wRong Paul is running in the Republican side for a reason, BECAUSE HE IS A REPUBLICAN! Don't assume otherwise! If he wasn't a true Conservative he would run as a Libertarian! wRong Paul's views are a mixture of Libertarianism and Conservatism! That's a FACT! But as far as it goes, he is a Republican!

  • @deeppurple28 you seem like the type of person who only likes people or dislikes people based on the party their in, not their political beliefs. i don't mind kucinich even though i am registered as republican. i am only registered republican so i can vote in the republican primary for ron paul.

  • @deeppurple28 though only way he can run as the president in the primary is by being in the two main political parties, to gain more delegates. you don't know ron paul at all. you label him as a republican because he runs as a republican but he doesn't share their political beliefs. main-line republicans hate his guts. do you know hard it is to get elected to congress as a third party candidate. i bet you wouldn't like kucinich if he ran as a third party candidate

  • @powerofthepunch3 Actually wRong Paul is a Republican, he is running for the Republican Primary! If Ronnie wasn't a Republican, he would have came out a long time ago and said that he was running on the Libertarian ticket instead, But he's not! Thus he is a REPUBLICAN!

  • @deeppurple28 paul isn't even republican, he is a constitutionalist, btw kucinich is somewhat a constitutionalist too but wears the democratic banner on his jacket just like paul wears the republican banner on his jacket
