I'm going straight to "Not Heaven" for this one. Join me, magmawk, as I go forth into the strange world of fem fatale combat!

Female wrestling was very popular in the late 80s/early 90s in Japan, thus many games and anime were created. Cutie Suzuki, Ringside Angel is a Japan only release that did quite well with very good *ahem* graphics, great music (bleh sound effects), and a variety of moves in 1vs1 button mashin action. Unfortunately, there is no tag team, survivor, or speciality modes.

Tech Notes: Wow, Camstudios and Gens+ worked very well together even if it is slightly blurry... the smoothness is great! Narration is bouncy, working with a new mic... I need a quiet keyboard... I just bought the *&(@$ headset.

Older video. Spam, hate, and flames will still be deleted.

  • The precusrsor to Rumble Roses!

  • seeing this game made me think women's wrestling was a big joke. decades later I finally see the real deal from japan. poor cutie got smashed in most of the matches I've seen, but ah well

  • i have this game on my emulator too...do you knowthe control scheme?

  • looks like 2d rumble roses. LOL

  • once you get good at it theres loads of sequels you can unlock, like fatality-like finishers, like throwing your opponent into the energy bars at the top of the screen and electrocuting them (big suprise for us when we first saw it)!

  • I suggest you SuperFire Pro Wrestling: Queen's Special for the SNES

  • I remember my brother renting this game from the local game shop MANY years ago. We had to get some sort of converter cartridge thing to even get it to work on our system.

    This game was a blast!

  • It looks like Saturday Night Slammers
