This is the argument of life beginning at conception.
At the exact moment of conception a person's DNA (which is totally unique and which they will have for the rest of their lives) is formed. The line of it's beginning of personhood has do be drawn somewhere. Birth? Unlikely. The heart is beating long before. This moment of conception is a definite line between non-existence and something life-long.

  • can a fetus live with out the mothers body... no it cant. So therefore the baby is not yet a human being. PRO LIFE IS ANTI WOMAN, simple as that.

  • That is just a more concrete reason why a mother should guard that baby. That child is moving towards life. How can the last line of defense (the mother) deny the baby life?! Thank God I was born into a Pro-life family!

  • You know what? I'm done arguing with you. We both know this isn't going to pass.

  • We'll see...

  • Beautiful video !!

  • "They had human DNA; so we passed a law ..."

Although women, blacks, and others have human DNA, that had nothing to do with the extension of civil rights to African Americans at the beginning of the twentieth century or to women in the 1920s. Indeed, I'd be surprised if DNA-based arguments were ever used in civil rights arguments. Moreover, the current concern among civil rights advocates is that DNA-data can be used to deprive people of certain rights ... So we're moving back to square one.

  • Yes on 48!

  • come on lippy. you didnt give one piece of logic on why this amendment would do great for the constitution. all you do is say that your CULT is going to come back even stronger. get bent you fucking hippy. this shit is not going to pass. YAY ABORTION YAY PRO CHOICE

  • I love how you can not debate with logic you have to resort to name calling. It took William Wilberforce over twenty years to abolish slavery. Personhood is not going away. Next election you will see us in 17 different states. If we lose those we will try again just like William Wilberforce we will win one day just like the great british politican who abolished slavery.

  • Being pro life is not anti-woman learn from history. Susan B. Anthony was pro-life. So was Elizabeth Cady Station who was the founder of the feminist movement. She fought to get the first anti-abortion laws on the books. She said that woman cannot fight for the right not to be treated as properity then turn around and treat her children as property. Half the abortions performed in this country are on unborn girls, and most of the abortions performed in the world are on undesirable, unborn girls.
