@JVChester I had that problem I had the free app. Worked great. Installed pro and then uninstalled free app. Pro did not work. I realised that uninstalling free app may have removed components used by pro app. After removing and reinstalling pro app (which you don't need to pay again for) resolved it. Pro worked immediately. All ok now and great fun.

@smaeg0l I don't have a Mustang just the engine, a 4.6 16 valve in a 2004 Rover 75 V8 Contemporary SE. MG Rover built 883 examples either as the ZT260 or the 75 V8 between 2002 & 2005

I have the OBDlink with bluetooth. When I scan for codes, it takes just a couple seconds.

@MrTDaddy1977 The Rover 75 I have has a Ford V8 fitted and uses a gateway ECU to allow data to be passed between the MGR and Ford Ecu's, hence the delay in retrieving code data.

@stephen88hox Does your car have a diagnostic socket? If it does I doubt it will be OBD11 compliant, normally for UK vehicles it's post 2001 for petrols and 2003 for diesels. Truthfully not sure if the MGR dealer T series of diagnostic machine even works with a pre 1998 vehicle.
If it does have a socket that's OBD11 compliant you'll need an ELM 327 OBD11 bluetooth adaptor usually about a tenner+ on the likes of eBay and Amazon.
