Destroyer lord does not qualify you for a royal court sadly unless I missed a named character or o-lord in there.

@Fudgieownz322 Doomsday Ark is more equivalent to a vindicator, but with a much longer range. A big scary blast gun, but mostly no other options for weapons, and very luck dependent.

@voll4239 Agreed on most points. Lychguards tear through anything, including terminators, as long as you equip them with dispersion shields for the extra 25 points, and placing them with an overlord or named character like Imotekh are nearly unstoppable. I havn't gotten to use either ark yet, since I'm not done painting my doomsday ark, but the Annihilation Barge, for 90 points, will wreak havoc with good rolls. The destroyers are now more useful as well, since Gauss Cannons are now AP3.

Love it. I'm a chaos guy who is looking at starting crons. just some thought after watching this. First off, don't be to sad, Zerkers are sic. Flayed ones are one of the few units that I think got worse in the new dex. nearly unusable. Lychgaurd are much more efficient. Get a ghost ark and start the game with the mono in play and try again. I know the mono seems like it got nerfed but its roll is different now. Also try an annialation barge. great anti infantry tank and its fast.

Im thinking doomsday ark = razorback, and ghost ark = rhino in terms of role right?

@Fudgieownz322 Kinda, I'm not too familar with the razorback, but I think the doomsday ark is more on par with a Predator, since its gun is extremely powerful. The ghost ark being rhino like is fair though, but it does have the added bonus of being able to punch out D3 repaired necrons per turn.

@coldbeerproductions Yeah I have been painting up some tyranids for the store army, so I havnt gotten around to painting up the necrons yet.
Up until amazing wonders opened we didnt exactly have a very friendly scene, so it sorta put a "why bother" mentality on painting when I had a million other things on my plate.
Once those nids are done though, I'll be hitting the necrons full force.
