Heaven makes a lot of great points, and her thoughtfulness is appreciated. Here's what I think of this fundamental existential question.

  • no one can pronounce my entire name

and my ambivalence is due to the shadiness of the american government,

i have a certain bitterness to teh way that the lower class of people and as you stated that the only beneficial fatctor we have is our Entertainment industry and i do not think that is a typically beneficial contribution to the world.

    thank you for the video.

    lol- TEXAS- engineer- AGGIE- lol

  • Hi Heaven:

Thanks for the note. With the likes of Dick Cheny at the controls (whom Hillary dubbed 'Darth Vader' if I'm not mistake), you've a right to be ambivelent. I appreciate your thoughtfulness: Keep the vids coming.

    Colin.

  • I enjoy your videos. They are very insightful.

  • Thabk you, sir....I aim to please, and I'll try to maintain and exceed your standards!

    Cheers!

    Colin.

  • the u.s. does have its best and its brightest, heavennevaeh being a great example of that.

unfortunately the u.s. is not presently lead by our best and our brightest.

as you pointed out there is a participatory u.s. democracy by voters. the disconnect is american democracy is administered by a plutocratic political class.

  • Unfortunatly, the plutocrasy is no different up here, and it is made much worse by a completely apathetic electorate. I don't even think that Canadians want to get rid of their plutocrats, as that would mean actually taking responsibility for affecting change at the grass roots.

Stay empowered, and yes, I agree that heavennevaeh is the future of your country.

    Cheers,

    Colin.

  • @fiercefunky whatever dude, how bout your own identity not frances or englands make your own mark, thats why the US is the way it is completely not europe

  • least you made positives and negatives for both not just oh my country is best yours sucks, good to know some ppl are sane in this world

  • we love you too!

  • I thank you but I know non white Canadians who would say there more racist in large cities like Vancover and Toranto then in the US. Also under the NORAD there are nukes in canada (7 or 8 silos) also acoording to the WHO and UNEARC Canada is ranked 7th not 1 is healthcare. When I lived in LA near the your consulite most Canadians liked the American Healthcare System (since your taxes payed for them to get healthcare in another county.....LOL

  • Your mic is broke or what?

  • Instead of a love letter you ought to be giving them a "Dear John" break up letter. Instead of forming an idenitity as antithetical to America, we should drastically increase our Francophone identity. I think French should be mandatory for all Canadians from K-12 and our culture should be much more firmly attatched to France and England. The U.S. can keep their barbaristic fetishism of hand guns and their irrational hyper- religious hysteria. Fundamental decency? A rare commodity south of 49.

  • Hi barnard1960:

Thanks for the kind words. I have traveled extensively and I ran into a lot of canadians. Many of them were shocked that I was not the stereotypically Am. I was not loud, rude, boorish nor uninformed about what is going on in the rest of the world. In the last election, I voted for Barack Obama. I told them I was proud to be an Am. regardless of who is at the White House. We are a generous people and we are seemed to be the trendsetters that the world envies.

  • a canadian saying something good about america O_o...well atleast theres one person in canada that doesn't think they're whole country is full of the smartest people in the world and the whole world should bow down to them

  • Hi there, Thanks for your comment. I Have never travel to Canada or England...Maybe one day. I think I notice on your videos from others, it is very interesting..I like that and for the folks in the US, Iam being one of them..we do have down-to-earth humans here...so Thanks again for your nice words.
