eSSB Audio Gear

Well just got my Audio Gear and set everything up 2 day's ago so now just testing everything out to get the Audio on my FT847 sounding good, really need a New Radio, I think a FLEX radio is called for next. Not at my Home qth so can't show a full shack picture, I'll get it all sorted as and when we are at our Home qth.

Thanks for the info I've head that the Flex has a few problems with the Audio so thought a TS870 would be good just out of the box I head a few guy's on 20Mtrs talking about the 870 and hear 1 guy with his audio and it sounded Brill so it could be the next radio I go for just waiting for the funds.

Have a look at my website at least you will be able to see how I connected my Gear up and also loads of other eSSB Audio Gear gets setup, also check on your filtering on your IC7000 I thinks it around the 2.4khz you'll need it wider john the voodoo forums and see what get said on there, Hope it help's.

Hopefully you do get a FLEX Radio (or preferably Kenwood TS-950SDX, '850/DSP100, '870, modded FT-1000MP/MKV)--it will obliterate the '847. Always remember, "your TRANSCEIVER will be your MOST IMPORTANT link in eSSB..."

Excellent vid , nice setup. Ive been playin around with my gear a litlle and cant quite acheive that voodoo. Maybe more equipment is needed. For me or that mod for the ex3200.
