@RMJ1984 Actually I have seen John on his Alimony Tour in Edinburgh last year after posting this comment. He's still a jolly good chap who didn't lost any of his sarcasm and sense of humour over the years. No doubt that this parrot isn't dead yet, but he never left any doubts about doing it for the cash.
John is a fantastic person regardless of anything, his name was on my list of "must see before death" ever since I used to watch Monty Python as a kid back in my home country. I can die happy.

@OhFishyFish Or maybe just maybe, imagine being like him, and suddenly being old and forgotten. Ill bet that is worse than money problems.
Seriously doubt he is doing it for the money.

Even though the 'Selfish Bastard' line was a little unfair he was only making a joke I mean c'mon guys he was only being stupid just take it with a pich of salt!
The whole divorce is a bit of a shambles but if its what he's gotta do then so be it, I mean even if he is only going on tour to pay for it plenty of people will go and see him

@OhFishyFish Kinda true he said openly that he's going out on tour simply to pay for his divorce so maybe this is an extension of that.
