EMG81(B)/60(N) vs Dimarzio Tone Zone(B)/PAF Pro(N): The Comparison

Hi fellow guitarists!
First off... EXCUSE THE SLOPPY PLAYING!! Yes I know the Axis is out of tune on the Rhythm comparison. Sorry about that!
This is an aural adventure into the age ole debate...
Active Pickups or Passive Pickups????
As musicians we are truly spoilt for choice!

This is intended to be an unbiased, concise and comprehensive comparison between a set of very popular active units (in popular combination) and a set of, also very popular, passive units (in popular combination) in a context that targets the demographic of the products.
I hope to debunk some of the myths associated with all the marketing and hype that guitar parts companies and genrephiles peddle around

I have attempted to reduce the variables by..
- using two not so different guitars with comparable (IMO) construction and materials.
- All parts were recorded using exactly the same amp settings, mic placement etc.

Often it is not a case of what is better or worst...
