Polkacide Intro - Helena polka

Polkacide always begins each show with Helena polka. In this video, past guitarist Byran Kehoe is substituting for current guitarist Max Baloin. Neil Basa, clarinet, is playing the melody line. Front man/band leader Ward Abronski on sax, alongside the rest of the horn section: JX Lovejones, sax, Notso Nieuwguyski, trumpet and Lawrence "Roamin' Polanski" Jarach on trombone. Directly behind them is the band's spiritual leader, Rev. Elvister on bass. The drum line is held by longtime San Francisco favorite, Bill Schwartz and the accordian is brought to you by Duckmandu, also known as Aaron Seeman.
