Supermarket activism at its best! Two thumbs up from your friends at Organic Living with the HippyGourmet

Well done. Charismatic actors, extras, well cadenced writing and delivery. Found this by following American University's Chris Palmer's email link he just sent out. Congratulations on your standing as a Third Annual Eco-Comedy Video Competition Finalist. Well Done.

Those poly bags are made from oil, not recyclable, made overseas, & not biodegradable. How silly are we to think we can buy a sustainable solution for .99 cents.
Some will argue: "At least your not using plastic bags". Point is - we are only delaying the inevitable. Poly bags will end up in a landfill for years & years just like plastic bags. Yet there they are being praised by government & the companies who make them!

Great video and congrats on winning the eco-comedy prize. Altriego - it is the single use that they are trying to stop. Plastic is ok so long as it is re-used it is the single use that is killing us. Organic bags are no different in terms of cost effectiveness. We need a society that starts reusing and recycling rather than just disposing - it is not just about plastic bags it is the whole single use packaging that is the problem.

@dixonvillage thanks very much! I'd further that by saying to remember the first step: reduce. Reduce, reuse, recylce, in order of importance. If you bring your own bag or decide not to buy it in the first place, you're doing a world of good.
