  • The leftist movement is what destroyed the fascism in Europe! Never mix up Socialism with fascism!

  • Fascism was the term chosen by the Italian fascist movement. It most certainly was not provided by Stalin.

  • Capitalism.is Bull shit! so is Communism !

  • wondering what date this talk was given?

  • @smoskprosk are you serious? u dnt kno anything abt fascism, so dnt talk abt it.

  • @Napoleontas It also created anti-Child Labor laws, Unions, fair labor laws, minimum wage in the US... the list goes on and on. The Pledge of Allegiance in the United States was written by a Socialist.

And you have only seen one form of Communism evidently. It is like saying that the people who live in abandoned subway tunnels are the only result of Capitalism.

  • @manalone999 This ignores the similarities about as much as a veterinarian ignores the difference between a cat and a dog.

  • @brotherscoobs do you know who "this guy" is?

  • @brotherscoobs Jonah Goldberg is really not a scholar. There are plenty of historian reviews of his published ramblings. You can google them, I think. This view really does not hold water.

  • The version of capitalism in fascist states like Germany, Japan and Spain was authoritarian and state directed, rather than liberal or laissez afire. This is in keeping of the history of these countries, where the liberal tradition had always been very weak. Certainly fascist governments always destroyed all the labor unions and political parties of the Left, and also sought to carve out new empires abroad for exploitation wherever they could.
