My Day In The Land Of Lincoln

Actually, being an Illinois resident, everyday is a day in the land of Lincoln, at least thats what my license plate says. This day, however, Im in the center of the universe for all things Lincoln: Springfield, IL. Video is from the Abraham Lincoln museum, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lincolns Tomb, and the Museum of Funeral Customs, which has the replica of Lincolns coffin, with the actual nameplate from it. Music is from the Civil War soundtrack. Drawing is rendered by Fred Colvin.

I love springfield.. im from indiana and try to make it to springfield at least twice a year im obsessed with lincoln and his history.. that was a great video and im glad to see the progress being made outside the tomb. was that the actual nameplate?

Thanks. Yes, thats the actual nameplate, at least thats what I remember the card saying. Although, it does seem odd that something like that would be left out in the open. If anyone knows for sure, please leave a comment.
