@blah2daworld23 try putting lettuce or something in their bowl, make sure they see u put it in. eventually they will eat the lettuce from ur hand, which will mean you might be able to touch and hold them :)

i need help . i have two parakeets (lil kim & say say) i had them for almost 2 years n they are still scared of me .i tried puttin my hand n there in lettin them out the cage ,i even talk to them n they still scared how come afte so long they are still scared of me or anyone for that matter ?? what can i do to get more friendly parakeets ?
