  • "pet" used loosely, as he obviously doesn't actually care about them, just that they make money and feed his ego.i never understand why people think it makes them "cool" to have a lot of snakes. its just sad for the snakes to have to live like that.

and "OW" to a tiny kenyan sand boa bite?!

im gonna shut up now-cuz i could go on and on pointing out this guys cruelty

  • @Thegoodkingnado I say I use the term "pet" loosely because a yellow anaconda should not be considered a "pet". I don't cuddle with it. It doesn't love me. As far as it knows, its still lurking the jungles of south america looking for a meal. Thats not a pet.

As for my animals, If you couldnt tell by the video, I know each and every one of my animals personally, and enjoy them all equally, and more importantly respect them all equally. My job is very important because of a

  • @Thegoodkingnado concept known as "conservation through captive propigation." Because of breeders such as myself, the demand for wildcaught animals in the pet trade is minimized. For example, Crested Geckos were once thought extinct until the 90's, and there are now more produced in captivity than in the wild. Now thats conservation. If the wild population does collapse, there is HUGE genetic diversity in the captive animals. And this goes with all captive bred species.

  • @Thegoodkingnado And by the way, baby kenyan bites can give you a little pinch. Sand boas actually have quite large teeth for their bite. One of the most painfull bites i've ever experinced was actually from a kenyan. they actually have semi-serated teeth.

  • @HiImSteveDuh blah blah blah... i know all about breeding and conservation, thanks... but i just can't help but resent people in general for the way animals on the whole are treated. I AM sorry that i kind of "attacked" you... somehow i have lost patience as i have grown older, and i sometimes say things i shouldn't. doesn't mean i don't FEEL that way, i just know i should keep that shit to myself. it serves no valid end, and just makes me seem and feel petty.

  • @Thegoodkingnado I have no idea where you got the idea that I was somehow hurt by a baby kenyan sand boa. I said ow. Just as if I had gotten a papercut or stubbed my toe. In working with reptiles I've had unjuries so servere i've had to get surgery and months of rehab to re-connect tendons and nerves. I cant feel anything in my left thumb becasue of it.

Clearly were going to have to agree to disagree. I know I provide top notch care for my animals, if you disagree thats your problem.

  • @HiImSteveDuh btw, i include MYSELF in the people i resent for the treatment of animals. it is just about impossible to live in todays society and NOT contribute to the mistreatment of animals, even if you're a vegan or WHATEVER.

i HIGHLY doubt the anaconda you keep that lives in a tiny box thinks he is in the rainforest. i mean, snakes certainly are far from the most intelligent of animals, but i think that your assumption is VERY naive, if not PLAIN IGNORANT.

whatever. take good care of them.

  • @HiImSteveDuh seriously, though- I was bitten by MANY reptiles, including a kenyan sand boa quite abit larger than the one that tagged you... its just, well, you have other animals there that would have a MUCH worse bite, and if a 10 inch kenyan hurts you- you must wind up in hospital when, say, the aggressive carpet bites you!

my worst bite was from a 10 y.o. male red tegu that almost took off my index finger and thumb, in my first month at the reptile "zoo" i worked at years ago.

  • @Leecop1000 i cant upload videos longer than 10 minutes from my iphone.

  • Y do u only have thirty seconds left
