This is a good cover. He is singing in the same key as the original and hitting the notes effortlessly. I could hang out happily in a room that this man is singing in if this is an example of his talent and not just some song he's been singing to himself for the last 20 years.

Hey, the guy's heart is in the right place; just look at the songs he covers - real R&B roots-soul, Mo Town etc. but he's also all over the place, he's a real music lover. He does "Dancing Queen" for Pete's sake. Check out his "Compared to What"

Having never really liked R&B before, I had really never exposed myself to that genre. Taylor's modern whomp is a different story, and since I became a member of the Soul Patrol, I have really broadened my horizons, and my musical tastes. I had never heard this song before, and I must say that I love it! I owe a debt of gratitude to Taylor for reintroducing me to music that I had totally overlooked before.
