  • looks like there is some gearing implemented , may be the 32rpm converting itself to a higher rpm there is ratio of conversion maybe because of gearing ?

    Jack

  • iNDEED, IS A GEARBOX INSIDE WITH ONE SPEED REDUCTION

  • 50W? i dont think so... maybe 20W

  • @PHOTOIK

    500 watts at its NOMINAL wind speed

  • 3euros,5 el watt ! no es barato ..

  • @ibercaracole ... pero es VAWT y no HAWT...

  • well,i would like to have a closer look at it,how her gearing is install,,

    i am thinking on testing an VAWT myself.i have so much problem with the furling ,,

    looks great from here anyway

  • buena musica wei !

  • In mortal and common references, How many bulbs of 25 Watts (save energy, white in spiral) could work turned on?

  • excelentt

  • So we can calculate the wind speed;

    200RPM at 8m/s wind, 32RPM it would be at (32 x 8)/200 = 1,28m/s wind (4,6Km/h)

    really a low wind

  • 500W nominal power at 8m/s wind (28,8 Km/h) at 200 RPM, in this video seems to be working at 32RPM, so we can calculate that at 32 RPM its generating 12,7 Watts;

    22,36V x 22,36A=500W at 200RPM, so at 32RPM the power it would be ;

    (32 x 22,36)/200 = 3,57--->3,57^2=12,79 watts, aproximated.
