Shelley Young demonstrates how to make Irish Soda Bread, a perfect example of a quick bread.

Irish Soda Bread

2 cups flour
1/4 wheat bran
1 tablespoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 ounces butter
1 cup golden raisins
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons caraway seeds
1/4 cup oats

Mix all ingredients together, form into 2 small round disks and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush top with buttermilk, sprinkle with oats and sugar, slash top, bake at 400 degrees until firm and brown, about 20 minutes. Serve with butter.
