ATWT 11-19b: Brian SHOCKS Luke!!!!

WATCH PART 1 FIRST. PART 1 - Looks like Van Hansis is shaving/waxing his chest again to play Luke. Van's chest (and legs) is normally hairier. It's clear that Noah still loves Luke, he just doesn't like or respect him. This is a common problem near the end of many relationships. But I agree with many of you, the writers have not explained Noah's draconian reaction. There's really nothing more Luke can now do to atone for his fraudulent actions. Kevin has won the election, and Luke has lost virtually everything (possibly even the foundation if ATWT is realistic). The only thing
I would demand of Luke now is to apologize to Kevin face-to-face, and hopefully form a friendship. This, of course, would not help with Noah since he is a bit jealous of Kevin. The question is what Noah wants Luke to do. Or is there no hope?

As for the kiss, is it any worse than the spontaneous kiss between Luke and Noah? Yes, Luke was vulnerable and not thinking straight (no pun intended), but so was Noah, who was panicking over the being late with his demanding father. Noah wasn't even sure why Win was there. And Luke had no proof that Noah was gay (or comfortable being so). At least Brian knows that Luke is gay. And let's not forget poor Maddie. Regardless, both kisses were wrong, where at least one person was impaired, and people were driven by misdirected emotions.

1) Was this kiss premeditated or was it spontaneous? (Luke & Brian have gone out of town together and nothing happened)
2) Did Luke reciprocate at first? If yes, did he do so because he was drunk, or was it because he was lonely and confused?
3) Is Brian gay or bisexual?
4) If #3 is yes, does Lucinda know? Keep in mind that we've never heard Brian deny being gay/bi, and that he might have been open in Chicago. I have a feeling she knows, and that their love is real.

Neither Luke nor Noah has cheated yet and everyone knows that soap couples HAVE to have affairs. So it may still happen. Characters often come back, especially one as popular as Brian.

Yeah, that's my problem with Luke. Even when he's evil and dysfunctional, he's adorable. In other words, he can get away with murder ... literally!

A couple comments on your comments. First off, "Brian SHOCKS Luke'? Hell, that's an understatement! He almost gave the poor boy a heart attack! lol.

And really, Noah was the one who kissed Luke, and as Luke was not vulnerable in any way, Noah didn't take advantage of him, and as Noah kissed Luke, Luke was not taking advantage of Noah. Noah kissed him; something he had been hoping for since the day he realized he liked Noah; who can blame him for kissing back?

Luke was taking advantage of the situation, and driven by his own fantasies and desires. Luke should have been shocked and told Noah that it was inappropriate because 1) Noah was still dating his friend Maddie; 2) It was the workplace; 3) Noah was too distraught to know what he wanted
