[PLEASE READ] This is set right after the end of Eden of the East and acts as a prequel-esque Saki narrative to before the start of the movie, The King of Eden.
*Please excuse the sharp S's & P's. My laptop has a built-in microphone and it's ridiculously sensitive. I recorded multiple times from different distances and it still picked them up as if I were right next to it. Ack~!
Moving on, this is my entry for the Eden of the East Creative Contest hosted by FUNimation & ANN. The first 35 seconds is a mini-introduction & a few notes before the actual entry begins. Voicing is purely by me and the script (aka, what Saki says) was written up by me. Video editing, along with the creation of the "backgrounds" was put together by me, though please know that Eden of the East, its logos, sounds, and music do NOT belong to me.
The reason why I chose this medium (voice acting, I suppose you could call it?) is mainly because I can't draw, poetry has never been my forte, I'm only good at choreographed dances (though I can't bring myself to actively choreograph on my own. I usually need multiple brains to pool our ideas together to get choreography going), and a number of other reasons. In addition, voice acting is one of my biggest interests next to writing.

For what was being said:
Takizawa ... Where did you go? Back then, I kept asking myself this question over and over, hoping that you would appear and answer me. You and I had met in the strangest fashion possible, and yet I was captivated by you. You had walked into the life of an ordinary girl—mine—and our meeting, whether destiny had chosen it or not, had caused everything around me to change. The cycle of my normal, everyday life, was broken, and by meeting you, I was given the chance to embark on an exhilarating adventure. But then you disappeared. You left me that cell phone that had been the start of all of this. And then, as the days went by, I sat wondering why you had done what you did. Why had you left me behind?
But, I found the message that you had left for me and I knew: you hadn't left me behind. And so I decided, I would come and look for you no matter what. I would search for you despite all the obstacles and dangers that would threaten to push me away. No matter how long it would take: I would find you. And that's how I've ended up here, back in the US.
This time, I'll be the one to find you, Takizawa. And we'll return to those halcyon days ... With a bit of craziness in between of course. But, wait for me, alright? I promise I'll come running when we meet again, face to face.
