that was the screen recorder i was using with my early videos. it made that awful noise. anyway, i got a new program so it doesn't persist in the later vids. :)

use a custom tileset next time, you get much more customability that way...

yes, i agree, however this tutorial was made to illustrate the use of the RTP tileset. As with all of my tutorials, they are made for beginners who may not have custom tilesets. :)

U put it on the wrong layer then

when i add my tent it has a white backround :O

If you put any ground events on the wrong layer, you can walk through them... or your passages are wrong.

i did exactlly this but for some reason my character can walk on the water. what did i do wrong???
