You are right in 1 thing u said: Messi is way better.
Messi isn't better because of goals: Cristiano Ronaldo is at Real since 2008. Messi is at Barça since 2004. And you can see 56 goals in 2.5 seasons are better than 113 in 6.5 seasons.
But Messi is better that Ronaldo because he isn't individualist and when he tries freestyle, he knows he CAN do it.
Ronaldo is individualist. But he scores cool freekicks and he feints a good way.
But Messi is better, i don't know why!!!!!!!

the difference is, Ronaldo has touched his prime and is compared to Messi who is just a kid and has so much more potential it is actually quite scary. In my opinion ronaldo is nowhere near as good but thats just me.

Messi has better close-range ball control due to the fact that he's smaller and has more balance (typical on Argentinian players) but Cristiano is better in the air. Both players can play with both feet, both players have great pace and vision. I say it's a draw between these two. Cristiano will probably win Fifa's best player due to last season's overall performance, but I can see Leo Messi winning it sometime soon too. Two great players. It is hard to say who's best.
