Love this! I am Penobscot and to me this is the most sacred spot on earth. I travel back every year in September for the Katahdin 100, a spiritual journey from our rez near Old Town to the base of the mountain. We do this to celebrate our culture and honor our ancestors. Thanks for putting such gorgeous footage within easy reach!

The promised land! One of my favorite spots on Earth ~ my friends and I used to make pilgrimage here every year in high school. Now that I'm moving back East I can continue in the tradition. Thanks for sharing the beautiful shots!

I'm from upstate NY and I've been to Baxter like 4 times for like two weeks at a time and i while i was watching this i remembered all of the fun i had there. THanks for the great video.

I am a Mainah, lol. This is my favorite place to go. We camp at a quaint little camp ground in the shadows of this beautiful mountain. Thanks for the footage!
