  • Hi Freddy, where can i get the backing track of this song, Saludos desde León, Mexico.

  • @MAXTORDARK hi ! i made the backing track myself . i deleted it after i made this video . you might try searching the internet for free backing tracks . i just found one for you (Backing Tracks - Ralph Patt's Jazz Web Page) it's there

  • Came across your vids while researching the Roland Cube 60 for my old jazz box and enjoyed them very much. I guess a lot of we older guys were brought up with the sound of jazz around the place but it is heartwarming to see so many young guys - who presumably grew up to the screech of rock - getting interested in jazz .

  • hi zthetha ! yes.it's nice to see some of the young guys digging jazz ! at first i didn't like the cube 60 as it was thin sounding , unlike my polytone. but it's gotten better , i believe since the speakers are broke in . plus it's light and very reliable . i use it all the time .

  • @freddym223 As a matter of interest - have you ever come across a Yamaha SR 50 112 amp? I have the chance to buy one unseen - they are VERY rare in UK - allegedly there were only 4 imported and even Yamaha have no info on them but they are said to have a beautiful warm clean tone. My Antoria L5 copy sounds ok through an old Crate red label G40C but I'd like more definition - it only has two 8" Celestions which kinda choke it a bit. I'm after that Jim Hall with Jimmy Giuffre 3 sound.

  • @zthetha no . i've never heard of that amp . i have always had a friendly relation with music stores . they let me take the amp home to try for a couple days . i've saved a lot of heart aches that way . try before you buy !

  • @2xtrbo Absolutely nothing at all. I have a Tele and LP and like to kick ass with em. Have you listened to Danny Gatton - the greatest 'unknown' guitarist who could literally do anything on a Tele. They didn't call him The Humbler for nothing. One of his influences was Tal Farlow who virtually invented modern jazz playing and was phenomenally creative.

  • @zthetha I am young and like equally the "screech" of Green Day and I like to listen to freddy too. What's wrong with liking both?

  • @Flamencanta thx sorry :-(

  • @freddym223 too bad... Nice playing though, and thank yu for the great arrangement(: good luck!
