a C6 in chest voice?

i just want to clarify that there's no C6 in the part "stay in my arms" like what some persons claim.

i am a reginian, but i must say that the note she hit in the said line or part of the song above was an Ab5 or, maybe an A5.

honestly u r ignorant about music. the only thing ur poor ears can distinguish is if a note is held or not. mariah can reach g5# or higher, and can sustain it. and the thing that you called "poked", is not poked. we call that staccato, short notes, but hit in rapid with pin point accuracy, and only a person with great vocal agility can do it, like mariah. and one more thing, mariah has the better tone... while regine remains to sound amateurish and infantile, mariah voice is warm and vibrant.
