(Fake) The Return of American McGee's Alice

The exact plot and nature of the sequel to at least my most obsessive game are unknown at this time, only intriguing concept artwork has been revealed. There's a game to be released soon called Edge of Twilight however which had the terrifically dark monologue I used in my own trailer, suggesting to my mind a possible plot for The Return of American McGee's Alice. One of the overlooked characters in Alice's last trip down the rabbit hole is the obsequious Knave of Hearts, always in the shadow of his overbearing sister The Queen. Now that she's dead and gone, what's to stop him from assuming the role of tyrant, after he acquires help from a mysterious traitor to Wonderland who grants him the power he needs to conquer the world of Alice's dreams. In my mind Alice would return to Rutledge in the sequel, too haunted by her memories to sleep again without insuring it was as empty and broken as its abandoned structure would suggest, the lawsuit over her terrible treatment there leading to its bankruptcy. However during her mission of reconciliation, Alice falls once again into an altered Wonderland, one in which she is no longer the bullied little girl but a recognized war hero and even rightful queen. Armed with new weapons, aided by new and old followers, Alice must contend with the new tyrant and his minions, and uncover the secret of the more sinister power behind his throne.

@bloodrunsclear Good News! A video game magazine called Game Informer has anounced the name of the next Alice game. The squel is called Alice: The Madness Returns and tells that Alice as been released from the asylum and is being treated by a physicain. However, the madness that was inside her is still there and its growing stronger. Unfortunatly. thats all the magazine said. I hope we will get more infromation in the near future.
