i guess what im trying to say is that he brought it back, when people stopped caring.
like during the h-street era. people just cared about how tech their tricks were rather than how it appealed.

back then no one cared much about the style of doing a trick..
people just cared about landing the trick and that was good enough.
Tom Penny originated the smooth style of skating.
